The Communist Manifesto

Format: Audiobook

Rating: 3.5

Wage laborers never prosper.  They only make capital.  And they cease to live once they are no longer able labor.

Throughout this book, Marx discusses what he sees as the pitfalls of the bourgeoisie way of society.  This short book was more about what Marx saw wrong with other societal structures and less about trying to sell communism.  I felt he was trying to show the downfalls of all the other societal structures so you would see how he viewed Communism as the far superior way of living in harmony as a society. Written in 1848 there as many things that have changed, but the middle class is still working and struggling to get ahead.
