This book starts early in Reagan’s career when he was an up and coming actor. Reagan’s career on radio and on the big screen have given his skills that made him a great speaker. This book explores the wild world of John Hinckley and his love for Jodie Foster as a side story. One thing this book pointed out to me was how powerful Nancy Reagan became. I was a young child during Reagan’s presidency so I was unfamiliar with lots the book discussed.
Most of O’Reilly and Dugard’s books are read by O’Reilly. This book was not. The reader did not have the newscaster delivery which I actually enjoyed more.
